After retiring from 30 years in the fire service, I became interested in drawing and painting. I enrolled in the local community college in 1996 and have been taking classes ever since; including color theory, portraits, and specialized classes in acrylics.
My wife, Sandy, and I love to travel, which affords us the opportunity for great photos (thus, great painting opportunities) from all over the United States and Europe. I have enjoyed the challenges of work by commission.
My work is shown at the Portola Art Gallery, Allied Arts Guild, 75 Arbor Road, Menlo Park, California.
